Playing this game in Vista x64 w or wo/ 4GB did nothing for me. Moving back to XP x86 after 3 months proved to be a very welcome and early Christmas present IMO. :D

You managed to play games with Vista for three months?!

I envy your patience.

Im using 64 bit vista and it is working fine for me i have most every thing on med except objects on high shaders on high particals on low and sound on low. I play this at 1980x1200 and when i use the bench marks i get 31 fps average i use a q6600 oc to 3.0 800mhz ram at 4-4-4-12 and a 8800 gtx if I lower the resolution to native which I think is 1080 x 800 or something like that i can play at very high on all but if it is streched out to my 24 inch wide screen it looks horrible if i play it in windowed mode it looks great but my desktop back ground shows and is annoying.

oh ya and when i use the bench marks it shows im using 1400 MB of my 2 gigs of ram i dont see if 4 gigs would help as it is only using 1.4 gigs

Well, Just finished this after two days of playing it on Medium. A very very good game I though, but I wish there was more time inside the sphere, and that you also got to take out the Sphere itself.

Playing the game with 90% of the settings on High using an 8800 GT, it looked breathtaking, even on a 19".

I'm replaying it now on a TV and it does much better when using non native res than the PC monitor. 1280x720 lets me run Very High for at least half of the first level. :D

Pookeyhead 7th March 2010, 15:32 Quote
Then your future is crap... because there's plenty in the present that can :)

lmao way to go "owned 66" for reviving a 3 yr old thread. There is plenty of ways now to run this game. The future is bright the future is i7
