I remember playing the Civilization Board Game many years ago, but this seems to be a new version. It was however very complex, and i think our first go at the game lasted about three days. Great fun, but the game got lost during a move. Might have to pick up this new one some as I really enjoy the occassional bout of board gaming.
Great game, it just takes too long. Basically a game for students who can afford to spend all day and all night playing one game, once you reach the real world Civ gets put away and doesn't come out very often if ever. Same with some of the 18xx train games.

ReplySadly, mine tore off 2 weeks ago whilst I was getting changed for a badminton match. Sad face was sad.
