Oh well, I think you forgot the Gravity Gun from HL2 ;-)

And I think the Hadouken is originated from the kamehameha moves from the Dragon Ball. No?

And, this is for whoever thinking Japanese games are dead:

<object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/4Tuk23gRrdw&hl=en&fs=1&rel=0"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/4Tuk23gRrdw&hl=en&fs=1&rel=0" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>

I think it ' s the hardest move ever and had thought its difficulty can be compared with the last achievement of COD4:MW.

Star Power is not so much an epic move in itself, I mean to look at the effects of it there's not a lot to it, but it makes the list because of how it transformed the first two Guitar Hero games. It adds so much to the gameplay and is a totally inspired addition. It's easy to look at it as not being particularly great now, because let's face it Guitar Hero has been going down hill since the second one, and on the strength of recent GH games it wouldn't have got onto the list at all, but in those first two games it was properly win. Dust off your PS2s, stick GH2 in there, pick Freebird. That's as good as GH games have ever been, and it is very good.

By the way was I the only one who kind of felt a bit sick when they announced Kurt Cobain as a playable bonus character thing in Guitar Hero 5? Pukesville.

UMmmmm you left out "throwing the ball to the half back" in Madden Football or Tecmo Bowl or heck any football game in the history of video games for that matter. It's the cornerstone play of gamers amateur or proffesional. That should be number two or tied for number two no scratch that it should be number two or tied for number one.

Now I do agree with the Headshot cuz there ain't no getting up from that!! Guaranteed Tea bagging!!

hide your weapons, make your HUD smaller and ...

... I just saw the fraps framerate and knew you didn't take the screenshots because well... if you have such crappy FPS with your rig then you're in trouble :D

The FPS is capped, like in BF2, in BF2 no matter how good gear you have the FPS always maxes out at 99.

Ducktails pogo jump FTW! This list seems to neglect older games as well as newer releases (like Arkham Asylum). Still nice to think back on some of those golden moments.

Yeah, just like having George Harrison and John Lennon in the Beatles game is sick! *******s!

In other words, no. Having dead people in fictions has happened for years, I don't see what the problem is?

It's similar but different. A Beatles game, about the Beatles, playing Beatles songs, is in many ways quite a reverent thing. Having Kurt Cobain as a bonus character however, playing all the songs, capering about like a grungy baboon, that's not a particularly respectful tribute to the guy. A Nirvana version of the game, sure, but this? Bleh.

the fps in UT2k4 is capped at either 85 or 90 (depending on the videocard... for some reason) , not 78 or 80 :)

Of course, the default attack of waving two blades welded to your arms is fun, and there are also good times to be had when you’re charging at the enemy like a whirling dervish, chopping them up, flinging them around and generally ruining their day.

The face hugger is small and fast, and it’s also able to crawl on ceilings and walls. It’s hard to see, harder to hit and it’s basically your opponent’s worst nightmare. However, this is balanced out by the delay between laying the egg and bursting out of your victim, which gives your unfortunate foe plenty of time to spam his team’s chat to alert them to the news, or run around like a headless chicken waiting for unavoidable death. If you’re unlucky, a bunch of his friends will group up around him, take careful aim and shoot you to bits the second you pop out. However, even this fate is a small price to pay for executing such a great move. There’s killing people, and then there’s breeding with their face before killing them.

It's so true.

No Hyper Beam?

Also +1 for Takedowns; There's nothing better than performing a perfectly excecuted aerial takedown in Burnout.

The only headshot effect to ever create a stunning visceral reaction was in Action Quake2. It was a patched up version of the original, and catered for multiplayer only, but damn!! the feeling when u got hit, was like an overripe melon exploding inside your mind and the sound of the shot when u used the sniper rifle, as it hit your intended victim was exquisite. Still without equal in my humble opinion. Anyone else play Action Quake before? Perhaps I'm too old and done too much, but that Action Quake game really kicked ass!

I would place the rocket jump and the bullet time as my personal favorites.

WTF Guitar hero? Sellouts...

Haven't played SupCom so cannot comment on the nukes in that game - but I recall with fondness dumping some nuclear pain on opponents in Starcraft via a well-placed ghost. "Nuclear launch detected" were perhaps the three most hated words you could hear in that game.
