seems limited but looks quite fun there i must admit. thanks for the article joe, some of the images arent connected to the right enlargement, just so you know.
eh? i haven't been following this game as much as i could be, but....eh? seeing thru walls? clapping hands to blow away tanks? where did this all come?!
I have to say, the game really was a shock hit at the show. After the interview was over Ben and I had a chat about how a lot of people seemed to have gone to the show interested in little more than Left4Dead and a chance to play that - but then the Battlefield Heroes presentation wowed everyone and the stand was packed.
I got a chance to sit down with one of the level designers and play a quick game too and though it was clear the game still needed some tweaking (if there's a jeep down on the beach in the final version, then I want you to know that was partly my idea) to get as truly fluid as they want it to be, it's still an incredibly polished and fun game.
I quite like the idea, being free it doesn't really matter if its not brilliant it becomes more like a really polished flash game you play when your bored. The thing that really puts me off is the third person view.
Typo? "
The three classes are the Soldier, the Gunner and the Commander" - later referenced as the commando. although a commander class would be very interesting!
I shall be getting this, though I think it will be too casual for me to play a lot, seems like a fun thing to pick up and play. Crucially, as I go to a fair amount of LANs and even now not everyone has even counter strike source - this can be downloaded by all and played for free!

Maybe another class can fly.. Then again, that's what the airplane is for I suppose :p
Restricting the purchases to non-influential items is brilliant too - they've not gone down the money-whore route. :)
I wasn't even going to have a go at this, but that interview's changed my mind: review is the decider. :D

And by the looks of things, you can ride on the wings of planes :)
