And yes, as with other BioWare games, it is possible to romance team members of the opposite sex – and get experience points for doing so too. It feels naughty – hell, it is naughty, but it’s maturely handled too.

Doesn't have to be the opposite sex

I'm not sure there's even a response to that...

lots of rumors of a PC version now that EA have bought out BioWare.....we got any confirmation? think it will port well? I'm a little worried as it will liekly be EA pushing it :(
Quote Paradigm Shifter 1st December 2007, 13:48
Dunno, let's hope a port is more like Knights of the Old Republic in it's behaviour than KoTOR2. 2 had some show-stopping bugs for me. :(

i loved both kotor's on the pc and look forward to the third.....although the ending of the second was awful...

MS are still the publishers for Mass Effect so I guess it's up to them and BioWare right now, I'm guessing MS are retaining the rights for that. Also, EA don't own them just yet, not till next year IIRC.

this isn't a pc game? I must of missed that somewhere. If they do a port I hope that they do a good job of it.

I am not a big rpg fan. In fact before bioshock i had never completed a rpg and thought "hum that was a good gaming experience, worth my time and money". I have usually thought of rpgs as a waste of my time and money. Mass Effect has completely changed my views about rpgs. It is perhaps the most entertaining xbox360 game i have ever played. Poor Master Chief has been out of my 360 ever since i picked up MA

Yes, and now you've been converted you must go and play Planescape: Torment and Fallout 2. BWHAHAHAHAHAHAAH.

I don't think that there is really much of a question as to wether there will be a PC port, but rather the question would be how many years from now will they tell us about it and release it.

The answer imho is probably however many years it takes till microsoft think they've sold just about every possible 360 copy and therefore won't hurt it if they release a copy for the PC to make some extra cash ..

All the PC types waiting for a port, get an xbox its great fun to just switch it on and play :)
Quote MiNiMaL_FuSS 2nd December 2007, 11:47
But if anything Gears of War shows that 360 games can end up even better on the PC. Plus then you get the mods and the far better comtrols further down the line.

I couldn't continue around the universe after finishing the game, I had the option of using my level 50 character in a new game but after the credits roll it's game over
Quote Spaceraver 3rd December 2007, 04:20
Wait a minute.. Isn't this an RPG? It's supposed to be played with a plastic rodent in one hand and a keyboard in the other. I was gonna buy this after reading the review. But after seeing the comments section and learning it's an Xbox game.. Nm. I'll pass on this one for I'm not buying a console and a HD-TV to boot just for one game. : /

(and for the record im referring to a mouse, so pull your minds out of the gutter guys) B)

It says "Platform: Xbox 360" right at the top of the review.
Quote CardJoe 3rd December 2007, 10:20
Aye - we're doing that on all our reviews now people, keep an eye out.

That's what I tried a few months ago. Couldn't persist with either game - they were just so dated in terms of looks and controls, it wasn't fun. Everyone raves about them... I wish I'd tried them when they came out.

Tali is my new obsession. I don't even have the game. Female aliens + space = love for me.

Now that's just plain weird. I mean, you can't even see her face.

Added to which, she's jail bait.
Quote pendragon 3rd December 2007, 18:06
*sigh* this would be so cool if it was only a PC game :(

I think the mystery adds to the illusion of attractiveness.

I don't find any of the in game characters remotely appealing. They all look about 40 or 50 years old.

Well, Liara does say she's 150, but then her race live till they're 1000

Hang on, wait...so in human terms that makes her about 11, right?

OMG, Shepard's just had weird alien sex with a minor.

Oh. That. Is. Just. Not. Right.

That's my kind of criteria. Older and preferably not single.
