So true, also means the only time we hear Joe's nonsense is when we read it on the site.
I'm finding some elements of the game great (graphics, interaction with crowd, the free running) but others totally repetative. The flags seemed to have been added to the game for the sole reason of forcing the player on to rooftops for no other reason than to look at the scenery. If they actually rewarded me with something (better weapons, aligity etc) then they would be more worthwhile.
I have to say the whole memory setting does open up alot of doors for future franchises (could be set in the wild west or any other time period).
Assassins creed is an awsome game and I believe it desrves a much better score. No other games have had the guts to develop a game that's set in this era and I believe ubi did a fantasic job. The graphics are amazing, it it looks great, it plays pretty good and has a really cool story especially if your into the middle ages and the crusades which I am. I would rate it 9 1/2. You really need to at least bring it to 8.
Cheers!
I still stand by my review and score: yes, the graphics are great, the story is OK, but the game is let down by repetitive gameplay.
But hey, it's my review and if you don't agree with it, well, that's your prerogative.
Why the hell ain't there any subtitles? What about deaf or hard of hearing people, they can't get the clues... Totally ripped away from the storyline...
