As has been mentioned missed the Intelli mouse 3.0 without doubt THE best mouse ever especially for fps games, which I think has been re-released or is being so.

Try this instead: Move the pinky off to the side of the mouse (hold the mouse with the side of your pinky and the portion of your thumb below (or at) the first joint below the fingernail). All other fingers should rest on the buttons - none on the scroll wheel.
First up we look at the design of the mouse, considering how many buttons it has and whether it look cool.
IMO it was clearly enought said in the review that which, in the end, is THE best mouse, depends on who you ask it. So it's rather stupid and futile to argue about that...
I'm pleased with my MX610, I tested the G3 for Metku.net and yes, it was a nice performer and a good mouse, but I still like wirelessness over the theoretical accuracy.
So many mice to review that I opted to stick in what I felt offered the broadest range. My hope being that there was a mouse that would suit everyones style in there somewhere.
With regards to some of the better/more expensive mice mentioned in this thread, we'll be taking a look at them in a follow up head to head at some stage in the not too distant future!
We're hoping to do something simialr (though perhaps on a smaller scale) with keyboards and gaming peripheals!
I saw Wendell recently and hes cleaned up his act. Gone is the greasy hair, the acne ridden face and in comes a surfer cool dude who is actually quite attractive.
Getting a little lost in your thought train there?
Good review, but I wouldn't mind seeing how they stack up against more mice (like slip in some comments about whether or not its better than some other mouse not included) just so we can get a better idea about how everything plays out.
i wasn't very happy with this review because of the face you didn't do some of the major mouses ive been looking at such as the g7 the g5 the mx610 the dimonback the habu and the deathadder
Used the G5 and really liked it, but i broke it (note, it doesn't stand up very well to being slammed into the desk after losing a BG in WoW...)
So i went and bought the MX Revolution and its not as twitchy for BF2142, but its really smooth and comfortable in WoW. The scroll wheel on it is works so well, going back to a friends G5 i missed the shape and scroll wheel straight away.
I'm a lefty and it doesn't get much better then the G3 for me.. I've always liked the Logitech mice, I had a MX300 before the G3.. I've tried Razers, but couldn't get used to the different shape..
I still use an MX700 and have had no problems with it. My sensitivity is usually quite low, so maybe that's why I see absolutely no reason for a ridiculously high resolution mouse. Even if you do crank it up high, I bet a lot of it is all placebo.
In any case, the MX Revolution is the only mouse I'd like to buy right now, but I don't want to spend $80 on a mouse. Maybe $60.

cant be really good
Assuming you mean that the MX 5XX's have to be full palm mouses, I can say for sure that they do not. It seems to be a common perception, but I've been using one for years as a fingertip mouse, and a couple of other big fans of the mouse have been also. Maybe you need the right handshape, but it works for me.
Fingertip control is definately the thing to be aiming for for gaming imo. Different hand sizes are going to suit different mice, but regardless of which one you use, you want the fingers touching the side and top of the mouse to be moving it, not your palm resting on the mouses arse.

Good review, trying to say which mice would appeal to whom.
I also have great big hands.

I also don't use the weights...
I read it but still think that the mx518 is the best balance for me, I am a palmer when it comes to my mouse useage.

I love my Copperhead but does anyone know if the new models are capable of being recognised by Windows without unplugging re-plugging every powerup?
