The games that I'm most looking forward to there are UT2007 and Quake Wars.
I really do love those screens from 2007, they are pretty mind blowing. ;)

Supreme Commander is going to be the best RTS EVER by the looks of it.

I'm literally bouncing up and down with excitment. TA was kick ass and SC seems to be a MORE than worthy successor.

ok i am now VREY excited and yet saddened thanks to you people at Bit-Tech.

VERY excited because....well LOOK at them (oh you have :P ) there ALL stunning!

Saddened because my PC wont be able to play the games at such a nice level of graphics :( :'(

CoD:3 seems to be coming along nicely(even since Infinity isn't doing it). However, WWII games, no matter how stunning, are getting a little long in the tooth. I hope Infinity is making something not related WWII, hopefully something modern.

UT07 looks incredible!
Quote Kasrkin Guard 24th August 2006, 17:57
Surely it should be Quake Wars rather than Quake 4?

Quake Wars has me drooling with some recent media as of late. UT2007 not so much yet, though I am looking forward to it aswell. Almost wish they'd hurry up and get them released, however I'd rather have time to prepare for such games next year with as little bugs, etc as possible and new hardware within this year.

Most of those games look awesome.

Supreme commander looks pant-wettingly awesome to me. A sci-fi RTS with the scale slider maxxed. Fantastic.

COD3's looking pretty sweet too - no doubt providing another excellent chapter of Nazi/Jap-bashing. :D

UGH only 4-6 more months for Supreme Commander!!!!

You're not the only one.

I just can't get over how fast in game graphics have progressed. They're way better than the pre-rendered cutscenes from just a few years ago. Sadly I can't play FPS games (motion sickness way to fast). (So maybe it's not so sad after all.)

Test Drive Unlimited looks awesome though I cant help feeling it sounds a little like Grand Turismo meets The Sims.

I've never seen any Broken Sword game but if it's anything like Monkey Island... Is the similarity just that it's an adventure game or does it go deeper? From the screen shots it doesn't look like it would have the humour & general wackyness that is Monkey Island (& Grim Fandango). Has anyone here played the earlier game(s) and gotten a comparison?

No idea how I will have time to play both Supreme Commander and C&C3, both are going to be huge RTS games with lots of replay value.

Can't wait for STALKER either.

Ugh, March '07 can't come fast enough now. I'm like a little school-girl just thinking about it now...

The Broken Sword series has been really good so far. There are few people who will ever forget the goat puzzle :)

Shame it sounds like being the last in the series though.

The graphics have certainly come on leaps and bounds in STALKER since the *sofa* leaked beta *sofa* :)
Quote DougEdey 25th August 2006, 11:40
I'll never forget the fuse wire puzzle.

MMmmmmmm Flamethrowers, and having a dynamic landscape, gunna have so much fun blowing things up.
Quote zr_ox 25th August 2006, 15:28
Nice round up and WOW, they look amazing.

I've never been a fan of the UT or Quake series but I must admit that they look great.

Graphics seem to be making major leaps every 6 months which is worrying me slightly. Currently alot of the mid-high end cards are dipping below 30 FPS at 1600x1800 during ganeplay. When these games come out we just might NEED SLi or CF. Thats unless DX10 cards step-up.

Do you have any updates on Crysis?

Exciting times

What? You didn't believe anyone when they told you "Hey! That SLI stuff, we are SOOOO gona need that in the future to play at "reasonable" resolutions."

For me the future seemed clear that while we may not have needed it RIGHT then we would need it in the future. Heck I suspect in 2yrs or less we are going to NEED 4 gpu's to play games at "reasonable" resolutions if graphics keep advancing as they do.
