Want to play Crysis at 1,920 x 1,200 with 4x AA on High settings? Then you want to look at getting yourself a new monster graphics card based on ATI's Radeon HD 4870 X2. Featuring two Radeon HD 4870 GPUs, and a massive 2GB frame buffer of 3.6GHz GDDR5 memory, the card has just scored 95 per cent for performance: read our Radeon HD 4870 X2 review here.

Of course, we know that prices can vary massively between different retailers, which is why we’ve had a good look through various retailers’ sites to see how their prices compare on various cards. Along with the PowerColor card that we tested, we also looked for prices of some other models, just to give a fair snapshot of the market. All the cards listed have the same standard specs, with a 750MHz core and 2GB of 3.6GHz GDDR5 memory.

You can see our findings in the table below, with eBuyer currently offering the best deal on the PowerColor card that we tested for £344.95 inc VAT. That said, not many UK retailers have revealed their prices for the cards yet, so check back later today for a wider price comparison.
