Custom PC levels up with three new staff members
As any RPG player knows, adding the right people to your party is crucial if you want to succeed in your adventure. Our quest for new staff, begun early in the Spring has now reached a conclusion, and we're pleased to announce we've recently added three new members to the CPC team, doubling the size of the full-time editorial crew.
Expanding the team means that we'll be able to write much more for both the website and the magazine, so you can look forward to more reviews and features online, more video, and more regular podcasts too.
Orestis Bastounis joins team CPC from a stint with Future Publishing in Bath as a Senior Staff Writer; he's a committed MMO player, and frankly evangelical when it comes to EVE, and more recently Conan.
We've also hired two staff writers: Antony Leather will be known to any regular users of the CPC forums. As Combatus, he's used his considerable knowledge of water-cooling to help out many a newbie. Mark Mackay joins Custom PC from Vadim, where he helped build some of the best PCs we've ever seen (have a look at Vadim's Dream PC entry from last year to see what we mean).
All in all, it means that as Custom PC heads towards its fifth birthday*, we couldn't be in better shape for continuing our tradition of hard-hiting, informative PC hardware and games coverage. So that you can give them a warm welcome when you see them on the forums, here are their user names:
Orestis: OB_Writer
Antony: Combatus
Mark: Cutter_McJib
