2KW PSU 'all about willy waving,' says OCZ CEO

While the head honchos of most corporations usually waffle unintelligible marketing-speak at us, OCZ's CEO Ryan Petersen prefers to tell it how it is. Custom PC had the recent pleasure of meeting up with him, and when asked if there was an element of willy waving to buying a 2KW PSU, he simply replied: 'it's all about willy waving my friend!'

'We're looking for people who focus on quality,' he continued, 'China and the Asian markets can have the bargain hunters.' The PSU in question is scheduled to be launched at the end of this year, and eats so much power that it even requires two mains connectors. If you thought that 1KW PSUs were silly enough to incite Graham Chapman's army officer to march over and complain about 'silliness', then this powerful monster would upset him more than the vicious gangs of Keep Left signs.

Petersen also confessed to spending a lot of his spare time overclocking, as well as taking part in extreme overclocking sessions using liquid nitrogen. 'We're all geeks ourselves,' he confesses, which is a great piece of honesty to come from the CEO of a tech company. After all, most of us are secretly willy wavers when it comes to PC upgrades too.
