Nope, an old Phillips 32PF9964C. HD before HD was the buzzword. You can pick one up for about £650,-- these days and I highly recommend it.

i'm looking for an upgrade to 40+" lcd tv maybe later this year

Your talking to someone who's tv is smaller than their computer monitor, and the 24" to come will only widen the gap. :D

50Hz Lighting and 60Hz Refresh always give me a headache. Flicker fusion doesn't bother me although I can perceive it. The wagon wheel effect always bothers me

Back on point tho surely a better use of all that processing power would be to improve the image than to waste it on unusable frames how about raytracing 50 frames/sec instead of having 150 unused frames/sec
