Rather than 'My Favourite Game', the topic this time around is a little more open; 'Fear Itself'.
Tackling that issue in this season's first episode is RPS co-founder Kieron Gillen, who talks about The Shalebridge Cradle level from Thief: Deadly Shadows - one of the scariest levels ever made.
In just ten minutes Kieron goes over the inspiration behind the Cradle, the minor design tricks that helped make it so scary and how writing about it was the best thing he's done as a journalist. Use the widget below to listen in your browser.
Those of you who missed the memo should know that Unlimited Hyperbole is a independent podcast I run with Harriet Jones about games and the stories we tell about them. Episodes are kept short, having been cut down from much longer interviews to give focused insights into a topic which is set for a season of five episodes.
Unlimited Hyperbole isn't associated directly with Bit-tech in any official capacity, so I won't be putting every episode online here.
