Games I Own

To be honest though, there is one problem. I already have a blog. It may be a Wordpress one, not a marvel like this one created by Jamie, but it does the job for me when I choose to update it with personal rants and updates. Which makes me think of what I can put on this blog that won't just end up there.
And it's at this point in the blog post that I jump into an entirely separate point that I can't be bothered to introduce properly. Blogs are better for that type of stuff than articles.
So, I made a list of all the games I own at home the other day. I was waiting for a game to install and it seemed a good way to pass the time. Strictly speaking they aren't all the games I own - there are countless titles that have been lost or sold over the years, plus a good dozen or so that I didn't care enough for to bring with me when I last moved. All in all though there are 108 games that I have with me.
To qualify that, that's 108 titles that I have on the floor by my desk at home, lined up next to one side of the sofa in the tiny flat I share with my girlfriend. 108 games, all of which I would for one reason or another never sell (except for a few, which are unsaleable). 108 multi-hour experiences that I, in some way, treasure.
The list includes some obvious ones - Deus Ex, for example - but also some notable gaps. There are games that should be there which aren't, like System Shock 2, which I've only ever borrowed or downloaded as abandonware. There are also some games in there which I've never really played, but plan to and some games which I don't even like.
So, for no particular reason than because it would give me something to regularly update my blog with, I thought I'd start talking about those games one at a time and slowly work through the list. They're in no particular order, just grouped as they are stacked and with my Steam games tacked on the end as an afterthought. These won't be reviews, just little thoughts and so on about them. Easter eggs, anecdotes, etc. on all the games that I personally own (that or the review copy never went back to work).
Oh, and I'm explaining this now so that I don't have to field questions on why the following posts jump around so much between games and so on. Sound good?
