If Mad Men had computers

Jeffrey Stephenson of Ingrapham fame and more recently the tiny Level 11 reinvisioning of Thermaltakes monstrous Level 10, has now created a deliciously simple and elegant Danish-styled 1960s PC case that's more furniture than electrical appliance.
As many commenters have pointed out, thanks to its minimalist styling, this surely is the perfect PC for Don Draper's office.
Right now Jeffery claims the case is 85 per cent done, so hopefully it won't be long before we see the completed article!

Man up and stop using DVD/CD.
Loving the retro look.
Fixed that for you ;)
i also have not just one, but several computers and am confirmed diagnosed shizophrenic. Proof that we do indeed have computers.
At least i thought it was a computer last time i checked, i'm mad, i can't be sure!!
Ummmm.... you use a USB/eSATA/FireWire based DVD drive. I no longer put a DVD RW in my PCs. I have about 4 USB DVD burners.
This *is* a great solution to Media Center and Server PCs however, and I like that it's minimalistic and functional.

several computers hey? one for each personality?
(i'm sorry i had to)
So there is no need for any actuall power button. Although its a pain reaching to the rear if it does crash, thankfully not often.
Looks like even Engadget snapped this up: http://www.engadget.com/2010/07/26/a-modern-danish-case-for-your-modern-danish-computer/
Maybe you slide the case out from the back and turn it on, then slide it back in. Doesn't appear that the case is locked in at all. Just a nice retro styled PC case holder.
- from the project log.
Why have a panel, have a slot drive and a hot key on the key board.
very nice case, does that come in Cherry Oak?
Oh CRAP I think this place might already exist, but hopefully only in my head, this sort of lunacy doesn't need to spill over in to reality.
Could you imagine the psychotic creations that could spill on to the net from the minds of these evil geniuses.
Oh wow, I just woken up, must all just have been a crazy dream....thank god...
