Download the first batch of bit-tech & Custom PC wallpapers

One of the great things about being in the Dennis headquarters is that bit-tech now has access to the photo studio and photography team, who do all of the magazine cover shoots using some quite interesting lighting tricks.
Over the coming months, the plan is to spend some of the studio time allocated to the Custom PC magazine cover shoots on creating some more artistic shots that we would've been unable to do on our own... mainly due to lack of skill and know-how, but we're learning how some of the shots were created and hope to reveal some more details for those of you who frequent our photography forum.
In light of this, we have created the first set of wallpapers based on some of the photos that have been used on the Custom PC cover in the last few months, as well as the new photo we created for our monthly hardware buyer's guide.

Discuss in the forums ReplyShould add the desktops Pookeyhead created with the Bit-Tech logo. They're on the boards somewhere.
It'd be good to have a "downloads" section on the Bit-tech homepage for this kind of thing so they don't get lost in the forums.

it's the kind of thing to which I would reply "QFT" without knowing that such a section already existed
still ...QFT :D
Pussies.
nice wallpapers, great for when geeking out :)
Can't wait for more :P
Amen to that!
Stick the best CPU Cooler of the world in a Iceblock. Better yet, let the whole BT Crew sit around the TRUE in a circle, bowing to it. And take a snapshot of that in the biggest resolution possible (something like 3888 x 2592) I know you can do it with your Canon EOS...
And ditch the 'impact' font. It's over used. Then downsize the whole logo/text layer about 50%. People want a nice wallpaper for the wallpaper not for large branding notifications ;)
Really? come on.... I've got a feeling I'm being bullsh*tted......
Nice pictures though :)
seems a damn shame for the main focal point to be a large, garish purple logo stating the obvious that yes.. i got this from "bit-tech"
its like a childs youtube clip that starts with 40 seconds of boring movie maker effects and credits with only 10 seconds of actual mild entertainment.
despite sounding like a **** i think the ice shots are really nice!!

Danny (the Dennis photographer) sent me this to show the unbelievers!

:)
I'll go nip downstairs and take some shots of their equipment next week if I remember :)
Right, I'm off to scoff eggs...
plus; What is Custom PC?
Ahem..... photoshop :)
I have to agree tho, the logos are too intrusive. The ones we all played around with a few years go in the Bit logo thread, and even the recent ones, the logo IS the subject, so that's different, but with these the hardware is the subject, and the logo is just a distraction. I understand the need to have the logo there, and I also understand the need to shoehorn the Custom PC logo in as well... but I think they could be more discreet.
The ice shots are well lit btw
The look nice, but the logos are just way too large, but then again, if you have a 1280x1024-screen, just download the large version and crop... Or use teh Photoshop.
