Well done BT for completing such a mammoth of a Lego kit, and for an enjoyable article too!

Makes me want to order some of those Technic kits now that's been sitting in my wishlist for ages.... :D

lol, really enjoyed reading that. The Lego shop in Cardiff has one built and on display in the window so I know how big a task building that is.

[heads to Tesco to pick up the Lego Aliens Helicopter that I saw on sale for half price]

Now you are prepared to take over the world of tech! A time lapse video of you guys making it would have been pretty cool :)

Some of our friends have a whole room dedicated to lego. This includes not one but two Corellian Corvettes.

Epic win!

But,

Can We have a new hardware buyers guide now? If you've time to build lego, there must be time to research some hardware?

Wow! That's fantastic, epic and gorgeous!

And I thought I done the most fun thing with LEGO this week you win this time.

New buyers guide reads as thus

Don't

Ivybridge isn't out yet, not all the GPUs are out yet, new Intel mobo chipset isn't out yet. All are coming soon and will make current purchases look silly.

Ex-editor James Gorbold bought this - perhaps he's let us play with it?
