So far the DHX+ heatsinks are 8mm wide, hole centre point is 4mm from the edge. The end holes are 8mm in, and the centre one is 62.5mm from the end. The screw thread width is 2mm.
also, thanks for the worldwide competition guys, especially with such a focus on innovation rather than something more simple. this is precisely what bit was founded for (innovation in the modding community).

Wondering about that too... What if i want to design a cooler that bolts onto multiple sticks in a motherboard at the same time. And a single stick cooler.
by the way, i assume that ownership of the designs ends up with Corsair, and we can derive no rights from Corsair actually implementing any of it?
I mean, i don't mind, but i'm really missing this kind of statement from the terms and conditions...
Also, will all designs be published afterwards? i'm really curious :) Published by you or Corsair?

Hi, I actually met up with Corsiar yesterday. They assured me that are no plans to actually put any designs into production or even make use of them. It's more a fun design competition as they are keen to what of kind of ideas their customers (i.e. you guys) come up.
My understanding is only the winning entry will be published but I'll see what I can do.

Edit: Where can we get dimensions of the existing memory and fins?

Center hole being 62.5mm from the edge. The whole unit would be 125mm long.
Thanks for those dimensions Bindi.
I will definitely send in an entry!

:D
shouldn't that be not instead of no?
[ontopic] hmmm... this is going to be a lot of fun to design.
Yay Corsair for doing this worldwide!
Plus i like the setup of this compo, this way you actually get some degree of control wether you win or not :p

Have you received my entry (it's from tanka1234567@gmail.com)?
I had a time zone mix-up, I thought it closed at 11.59PM BST, not 11.59AM BST.
Is my entry still valid and in time? I spent alot of time on it, so it'd be a shame to see it all go to waste.
Thanks,
