Always good to see how it's done, cheers for putting in the time to have a nose round their factory.

Yeah definitely - almost like an episode of how it's made. Without the horrendous forced jokes.

I can attest that putting your finger in between a chain and sprocket is NOT a good idea. Especially when it's attached to a motorbike.

WOW.. this is impressive... big up to the Gigabyte for doing this.. :)

I would so love to get hold of a mobo before it has the parts put into it and use it as a mouse mat

Thats a great idea, maybe i will strip down an old motherboard by desoldering every pin and the poor a plastic transparent coating on on side for the mouse to rest on. Or maybe this is to much work and ends up in a mess... who knows.

Reminds me of the tour that PCSTATS did - check out their page 9 for some amazing photos of the automated warehouse - it's huge!

I've already got a motherboard drinks mat coaster. Very nice. loads of places sell them, mousematts, book covers all sorts.

A quick google gave me this: www.motherboardgifts.net

I would really like to see similar tours for other manufacturers, particularly ASUS. This might be the next step in decided who the hell to buy from.

I though you had a picture of their canteen here

Bit-Tech needs to enter the realm of video! For game reviews as well as this kinda thing!

We know, but it takes a LOT of time to get good quality video, whereas **** video takes all of 5 minutes.

Very nicely done and interesting read as well as the images.

Why are the red components in this box labeled GREEN? lol

Very very cool. I would love to go there myself and just have a nose around, though I don't think they would take too kindly to it.

Oh yeah. I assume you don't just flick through images, you like to study them instead. :D

I just watched a "how its made" last night on making PCBs and that gun that places the components on the board is crazy fast!

Sooooo jealous! Can I have a job as a travelling journalist please? Preferably one that gets free samples too ;)

Good job, you just got some poor girl fired from her job.

But seriously, How hard was it to not ask for a little something to remember the trip by?

And secondly, they weren't trying to grease the rating wheels were they? Even if only by giving us a little bit more insight into the company.
HourBeforeDawn 13th June 2008, 04:23 Quote
pictures are nice but I have been spoiled by that show How its made, you think next time you guys could film it and have some video clips of the process?

LOLer, I've seen insude MSI, Asus, Cooler Master, Gigabyte, Abit and more :p Once you've seen one board being made, you've essentially seen them all ;)

I'll try to take some video next time then.
Sark.inc 13th June 2008, 09:02 Quote
video would be mint! <3

Rather interesting process how they make them, can you show us how they make CPU's?
