The massive growth of bit-tech.net started during the Gnome Orac days? I don't know. That's how I come to know bit-tech.net as I remember. Then the rest of the projects got me equally hooked to this site.

True, but compare that to our first flat. We had a mile-long network cable to link together two PCs on a shared 56k connection :'(
