Yeah, there are still quite a few CRTs... we're using most of them for mobo testing. Graphics testing is nearly all done on TFTs now. ;)

Yea the sooner we get rid of the CRTs the better - more space. Unfortunately they do both high and low resolutions easily, unlike TFTs.

Jipa - our coffee machine was Hugo, but we left him with TR.

Btw, everyone knows they put the geeks in closets or other window less rooms. Im currently sat in a fishbowl type room with windows all around me, but i still cant see any of the outside world. Just more offices and corridors :P

We do have a really big window actually - one entire wall is a huge window, but it was behind the camera.

sigh.. makes me want a job in some place.. else. I'm currently in a 10 foot square room with 5 middle aged women and have to "work" on a Pentium 2 (233Mhz). Wrestling with that son of a bitch is a frickin nightmare.... my phone is more powerful.

We'll add some more pictures to the article today to show you the FINAL results (including the windows). We have some new high end TFTs on order with NEC including their latest 30" MultiSync® LCD3090WQXi. Tim's set-up (not shown) includes several TFTs including a 30" TFT from Dell. Plenty of high end kit in our labs as you would expect.
