Anyone who isn't interested must be crazy
Quote poenanie 16th February 2007, 15:23
Besides the fact that this is crazy , can anyone tell me what the subject of the mail should or doesn't that matter ? :D
Quote MiNiMaL_FuSS 16th February 2007, 15:28
They havn't specified a subject this time...which is a slightly worrying first.

Good luck all, lets hope a fellow Brit lands this one.

Testicles too ;) might require some duct tape though
Quote oasked 16th February 2007, 16:48
Entry in, I bet shipping is as expensive as all of the components combined though. :D
Quote Matheus =D 16th February 2007, 16:54
I really hope they send here in my country (Brazil)... I REALLY got no money to spend at any of these components, so I'm really excited about winning that contest hahaha /o/
Well, that's MY ultimate computer

We stripped naked and danced all night around our 30" Dell with photos of Orac³ and WMD on screen.

A little worried about that part...

Other than that it looks kick arse!

"Prizes include shipping but winners will be responsible for any import duties or taxes incurred."
Um..I'm not sure i want to take part i think the import duties and the tax will be more expensive than just buying a new pc.. haha
Any idea how much the price is to ship it to iceland? I think the customs will go nuts :(
Quote zero0ne 16th February 2007, 17:23
When a winner is picked, any chance of you telling us how many people actually entered? (I am curious as to what the odds end up being)

Also, I'm mad because I was planning on making a SupCom Mod :/

I was going to design it around a structure (probably one of the power generators)

...entered...i hope i win, my rickerty old xp3200 is starting to go senile on me :D
Quote Fozzy 16th February 2007, 18:02
I may have entered to late. I tried though. Would love to have that rig. I may have to strip all the components though.... :) Not a whole lot of room for a 6 foot case.

my thoughts exactly, flating and a 6 foot case sounds like a pain in the ***, but my budget for my new pc could be renamed to 30in screen budget

Edit: how could you have entered to late the entrys are open until 16th MARCH (it is February isnt it?)
Quote Tyinsar 16th February 2007, 19:27
I sent my entry without my full address etc. so I re-sent it. I hope that doesn't count as duplicate entries. If so, how can I fix this? (I could send from another address but that would be a violation for sure.) :(

I've never been a huge fan of RTS but I'd like to try this with the dual screens. Sadly it looks like I'd have to win this to run it in dual.

6 foot , sounds like GoTaLL lived up to his name :) I look forward to the work log.

Edit: Thanks Bit-Tech staff & Sponsors (nice list of them) ;) (even if I don't win) You guys (& gals) Rock!

Quote Godboy_g 16th February 2007, 20:15
Would you be able to tell us if it's modular? I mean, it would be dificult to pick up a 6ft box from the post office....not to mention try and fit it in the car!

unless there is a sit command...LOL :D
Quote ozstrike 16th February 2007, 20:18
Entered :)
Good luck people!
Quote Kipman725 16th February 2007, 21:03

Quote 1e8o 16th February 2007, 21:28
I cant wait to see that mod :P Inspiration :P
Quote zoom314 16th February 2007, 21:29
I'd love to enter, But being I'm in the US, I think shipping this 6' tall behemoth here would not be something I'd want, Besides It would be almost as tall as am and I'm 6'1" tall. Besides It would just be used as another cruncher If I were to enter amd If I was to win It. I already have two QX6700 cpus already. :D
Quote Devrethman 16th February 2007, 23:13
It says winners will have to pay any inport duties/taxes... how much would that be to somebody living in Arizona, USA?
Quote DarkReaper 17th February 2007, 00:30
Goodness knows, but sell your existing comp if you have to to cover it!

And, of course, I've just entered. It's taller than me but I'd find a space somewhere in my room
Quote tacticus 17th February 2007, 00:53
./drool

thats one shiny case :)

edit: btw the link to the SC review is broken on the first page of the comp page

It varies from country to country and I imagine even from state to state. We will do what we can to limit them where possible but all we're saying is that if, through no fault of our own, your local government has a 6ft robot Import Duty of 6%, we can't cover that cost for you. Sorry.
