You need to host it - ;)

How to enter: Create the document, and drop an email to competition@bit-tech.net with the subject line 'Valve Blackmesa Competition'. In your email, include a link to somewhere we can download your entry - don't email it to us, otherwise we'll be stuck with hundreds of megabytes of email to try to download.
yes it does, but i was worried that if people download it more than once, or more than one downloads it, then I'll exceed my webspace download limit. My files are quite large. No bother... there's plenty of free hosting available. I'm struggling to find teh time to finish it as I always do, so it will probably be teh last minute when I do upload it anyway - it's not like it will be sat on there for days.
True. I suppose now the deadline is past there's no harm in it, but I think I'll play my cards close to my chest. Besides... once the winner is announced, there will be all kinds of "Mine was better than that" kinds of whining... best leave it as it is I think.

What exactly did you get from Deviant art that you used in the article? I was under the impression that you couldn't use anyone else's work and just had to either create your own, or just use the images supplied in the article.

There are some crucial conditions:
* The document should use pictures and text from the two Blackmesa II worklog articles: here and here.
* The document should be colour and printable on A4 - there's no limit to the number of pages.
* Don't use copyrighted works other than directly from the bit-tech site - keep it original.
Surely that rules out using anything off deviant art... unless you were the author of the work? Or did you mean you used it just for hosting the files? You probably did... just checking.

this is great f9or free hosting. 2GB storage
Cleric: I'm doing one file. Seems pointless creating two seperate files.
Doesnt ISP give you webspace with your internet connection? In Finland every ISP does that.
i'm not the only one then. ;)
I'll be sending my entry in tonight or tomorrow morning. :)
EDIT: DAMNIT. I just reallised what date it is.
Will you please accept one late entry?
:(
Photoshop and InDesign to make it, and filexoom to host it.
agreed, good point.
I used Open Office draw, geocities for the files and deviantart
