I have read a review on the new Zalman case - looks pretty promising. They obviously put a lot of work into making the case function well. Don't you think the details are a little lacking though? Like the power button, the access panel and just the general styling? Maybe they'll get to that when these go into production.

:| I'm miffed at the DAHW speaker set though. Look real similar to the JBL Creatures that were popular a few years ago.

ahhh yes.. but that BTX socket/plug! :( looks like were all gonna be forced into buying a BAD design (again) if we wanna 'upgrade'. Still, looks like there just trying to go to BGA (ball grid arrays) on the CPUs to make them cheaper (instead shift the cost to the mobo, make intel/amd look good). Oh hang on, VIA have been using BGA for ages :) and look! so MANY 'media' PCS! :) i will see u all over at the SFF forum in 6 months time then

Those Kanam HTPC cases look superb, really want something like that for a music/hifi PC (I want something that will fit in well with my separates) that I am considering building....bet they cost a mint though :(

That devil looking case was on sale at newegg.com a couple of weeks ago. It's not the completely the same but looks almost the same.

I think it is 6mm but I would guess it's performance is more than adaquate. Most home WC systems tend to go for brute force rather than real engineering when it comes to sizing.
